FRIEDMAN Yona (1978) This housing project focuses on flexibility and the innovation from the individual space. These housing units create an innovative space designed to be adaptable and flexible to the living fluxes. These housing units are devices that allow the process of urban transfor¬mation. The units are designed to adapt needs for change as they are easily transformed from a five room unit to a three roomed apartment or studio. The fabric of these units allows the ability for future projects to fit effortlessly into this system. In essence, the project also revolves around these other key points: The consideration of different rhythms that succeeding generations bring. The integration of new life cycles.
